July Client of the Month
I grew up in Hazard, KY, and graduated from Transylvania University. Except for my time in graduate school at the University of Cincinnati, I have called Lexington home since my Transy days. I’m the Family Services Director at Lexington Habitat for Humanity and I’m honored to make a living helping people achieve decent, affordable housing. Animal rescue and adoption is another cause I support through volunteering my time.
I had no idea when I walked up the stairs at Sweat that first time several years ago that it would become such a huge part of my life. I’m grateful I took that chance, and it’s a good reminder that we all need to keep trying new things! Even after more than 600 classes it’s always fun and it never gets easy. The intensity and variety of the classes are what keep me coming back. I can mix up my workouts depending on what I’m in the mood for and what I think my body needs, and I love that the instructors motivate us to give it our all. I was hooked on Sweat that first day and it keeps getting better and better!
